Tachograph: A friend indeed

If you are looking forward to make yourself a law abiding citizen, then you should definitely install a tachograph. Embedded behind the steering wheels, tachographs help in probing accidents. Tachograph is available in analog and digital types. The digital tachograph was invented by Max Maria von Weber and was first used in railways. Digital taco discs have two modes –rest and availability. Sometimes drivers have long working hours or are under stress, so, inevitably fall asleep and this leads to accidents. Tachographs provide a solution to this problem. Digital tachographs keep the record of speed and distance traveled, in an electric smart card. This works perfectly and is not tampered easily.
This is an advantage over the analog types. The analog taco discs can be meddled easily and makes the work difficult for the traffic officers who cannot punish the drivers in case of accidents. In most countries, setting up a tachograph is compulsory. All commercial vehicles should have a pass certificate which is annually checked by the Governments and a failure to produce it leads to heavy fines. According to some, it is unnecessary and expensive, but people who have used it found it very helpful. Tachograph makes your cars road worthy and maintains safety rules.
